Terms and Conditions – Online Store
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the provision of services by Spinx Property Maintenance & Repairs (Pty) Ltd ("we," "our," "us", "SPXSA") to our clients ("you," "your"). By engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
2. Scope of Services
We provide professional property
maintenance services, including but not limited to:
- Minor and Major Air Conditioner Servicing
- Electrical and Plumbing Repairs
- Handyman Services
- General Facility Maintenance
All services are rendered by qualified SPXSA technicians or our approved subcontractors. The exact scope of work for each service is defined in the service description provided at the time of purchase.
3. Booking and Scheduling
- After purchase, a representative will contact you within 24 hours (business days) to confirm a suitable service date and time.
- Service appointments are subject to technician availability in your area.
- Emergency or after-hours bookings may incur additional charges and will be confirmed before dispatch.
4. Service Areas
SPXSA operates nationally across South
Africa, with teams in major cities including Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town,
Durban, East London, and Port Elizabeth. Service availability in outlying areas
may vary.
5. Pricing and Payment
- All prices listed on the online store are in South African Rand (ZAR) and exclude VAT where applicable.
- Full payment is required at the time of checkout unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Additional work required beyond the service purchased (e.g. part replacements, repairs not covered in the standard service) will be quoted separately and only carried out upon approval.
6. Cancellations and Rescheduling
- You may cancel or reschedule your appointment up to 24 hours before the confirmed service time at no cost.
- Cancellations within 24 hours or missed appointments may incur a call-out fee.
7. Refunds and Returns
- Refunds are only issued if SPXSA cannot fulfil your booking or if you cancel within 3 days of placing the order and at least 24 hours prior to the appointment.
- No refunds will be issued once the service has been rendered.
- If you are not satisfied with the service provided, please notify us within 48 hours of the appointment for resolution.
8. Service Limitations
- We reserve the right to refuse service if on-site conditions pose health or safety risks to our staff.
- Some services may require power, water access, or safe working conditions – these must be available and in working order at the premises.
9. Warranties and Workmanship Guarantee
- All workmanship is guaranteed for a period of 30 days unless otherwise stated.
- This does not cover misuse, neglect, or third-party tampering following the completion of our service.
10. Liability
SPXSA shall not be liable for:
- Any consequential, indirect, or incidental loss or damage.
- Damage caused by pre-existing faults or structural issues.
- Delays due to force majeure (weather, strikes, access restrictions, etc.).
11. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and
interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any
disputes will be handled in the appropriate courts of jurisdiction in South
Africa.
